🔥sk-8 Kobelco Excavator 5 Modes Explained! A, B, S, H, X – 90% of operators get it wrong!

Hey folks, are you using your SK-8 the right way? 🤔

Most people just push the lever forward, but these five letters – A, B, S, H, X – are totally different! Use the wrong mode, and you’ll burn extra fuel or even damage your machine.

👇 Here’s the breakdown

A Mode (Auto Mode)

→ All-purpose mode. Digging, loading, grading – it works for everything.

→ The computer automatically matches the power. Pick this if you’re not sure what to use.

B Mode (Breaker Mode)

→ Specifically for running a hydraulic breaker (hammer).

→ This mode optimizes hydraulic flow and pressure. Protects both your breaker and your machine.

S Mode (Standard Mode)

→ Precision work. Sloping, pipe laying, fine grading.

→ Smooth operation with the lowest fuel consumption. Your go-to for delicate jobs.

H Mode (Heavy Mode)

→ Heavy-duty work. Rock digging, hard soil, loading large boulders.

→ Maximum power. Use it when you’re in a hurry and need to get tough jobs done.

X Mode (Expert / Extreme Mode)

→ The legendary hidden mode. Full machine potential unlocked.

→ For experienced operators only. Beginners, use with caution.

⚙️ Quick switching method:

Hold down the second button on the left side of the top row (the horn cancel button) while turning the key to ON. Then scroll up/down to select your mode.

💡 One sentence summary from a veteran:

Running a breaker? → B Mode / Want to save fuel? → S Mode / Crushing hard work? → H Mode / Not sure? → A Mode
